Year 1 have loved launching into their London topic this half term. We have begun by talking about the United Kingdom and its four nations. We then discussed capital cities and learnt where to locate London.
We have learnt about the Queen and wrote some fabulous letters to her.
This week we have looked closely at the meaning of a landmark and tried to build the various London landmarks in our construction area. Didn't we do a good job?
