Bright Lights, Big Cities
Year 1 have thoroughly enjoyed their Bright Lights, Big Cities topic and have really enjoyed learning about London. The children have created some amazing royal portraits, fact books about London landmarks, retold the story of Paddington and recreated London landmarks in the small world and creative areas. We have also been learning about the 1950s and comparing life then with life now. We end our topic with a tea party and the children are looking forward to making their own sandwiches for it.
