Year 4 News
Friendly competition brings out the best in us! During Enrichment, the children in Clownfish showed incredible teamwork when they were challenged to see who could create the longest paper chain. Even though they were competing against each other, they supported, cheered, and helped one another every step of the way. Well done, Clownfish!
Orcas loved their computing lesson this week! They learned how to program external micro-bits using their coding knowledge from their previous computing unit. The children had lots of fun programming the micro-bit to become a step counter, display their name in LED lights and create musical tunes and patterns. Great work Orcas!
Year 4 is Buzzing!
Our young scientists had an "electrifying" time this week investigating Conductors and Insulators!
Using circuits, the children tested various materials to see which ones allowed electricity to flow and which ones blocked it. I know the Year 4 children are really looking forward to their next science lesson.
